Why 'Secrets and Lies' should be your next binge watch.

I have to admit I've started to watch 'Secrets and Lies' because Ryan Phillippe was in it, but when I start the first episode I couldn't stop myself to watch the entire serie. It was an obsession. (And the finale, ohhh the finale - I won't spoil you anything)
The show went on air on ABC and its based on the homonym australian television serie:
Ben Crawford, a family man who discovers the body of a young boy and quickly becomes the prime suspect in his death. Ben then goes in search of the real killer in order to clear his name. He puts up quite an effort that ends up revealing a great many secrets of the small community.
Since almost every single tvshow is on break until the next fall, I hardly advice you to binge watch this one and here there are a few reasons why you should start watch 'Secrets and Lies':
1. It's the most compelling thriller serie that I've seen in a long time and I'm not lying I didn't feel like this since 'Harper's Island'.
2. You will suspect of every single character until the end.
3. You will hate and love every character - NOBODY IS SAFE (yes, marked these words)
4. The last frame of the the season finale will leave you a sense of terror and creepyness. And you will scream 'this is the best finale EVER!'
5. There's a second season on its way (THANK YOU ABC!)

Why Dominic Sherwood will be a better Jace than Jamie Campbell

I can't define myself a true fan of 'the mortal instruments' books, but I read and enjoyed them until I decided they're getting to much boring and abandoned the saga after the 4th book.
I was so glad when it was spreading the word of a possible TMI tvserie, I've always thought the story was better for a small screen adaption where you can change a lot without being threw in the lion's den; TMI is a good story, but if you take a single book you can realize pretty quickly that it is quite impossible to take it on the big screen because it's really slow and it's actually happened few things.

When the cast of the movie was out most of the fans turned their nose realizing that Jamie Campbell was impersonating Jace, even if a lot of them have learned to love him I still don't get it -  he doesn't have quite the charming that Jace has.

Instead the news of Dominic Sherwood as television Jace gave a glare in my eyes. Dominic is the perfect Jace:
1. he is so charming and if you have watched him in 'Vampire Academy' you know what I'm talking about;
2. he is british >> charming is all over him.
3. Jace from the book is beautiful as hell. You can't resist him. Have you seen Dominic? I'm not saying Jamie is not appealing, but he has a quite different beauty.
4. he has such a particular eyes. As you can see from the picture he has blue and brown eyes. I love this particularity.

Sorry Jamie, but Dominic is a perfect Jace. If we can't have Alex Pettyfer I'm so going with Dominic.
What do you think about Dominic as Jace? I'm still waiting for the name of Clary it would be hard to reach the amount of perfection of Lily Collins.

7 reasons to start watching 'Izombie'

The CW is following 'The walking dead' zombie wave and recently brought to life on their own network 'Izombie' created by Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars) and Diane Ruggiero-Wright for television and ispired by the comics of Chris Roberson and Michael Allred.
If you are obsessed with the zombie universe, you can't miss out this new series where the lead character is a woman who doesn't let her new 'condition' stops her life (at least not entirely), infact her main purpose in life is helping people and she has figured out a new way to do that.
So why someone should start this new show?
1. As an orphan of 'Veronica Mars' it's a must seen. Liv is a lot like Vmars and I'm not talking about how she looks like, but she is also a strong female character with the need of protecting everybody she loves and she doesn't miss of sarcasm.

2. Liv is the first zombie on television who can actually breath, she still has a pulse, even if a weak one. She doesn't do the classic zombie's roar, she can actually talk as a human being.
3. It follows the classic zombie novel: zombies need brain to survive. But Liv likes to eat her brains with human food, too.
4. It has classic zombies movie references. You can't miss them: "I've got mad and suddenly I was 99% zombies, like 28 days later syle."
5. It could be a cure to her zombieness and when she eats someone's brain she absorbs the victim's memory - all things that we can find in 'Warm Bodies'.
6. Of course, we cannot don't have a 'The Walking Dead' reference: she has been turned with a scratch on her arm.
7. Plus, she works in a morgue with an hilarious and awesome boss. (that's totally a plus)

In conclusion, if you're a fan of the zombies franchise in every its form you can't miss this new show. It has a lot to tell about it and I can't wait to watch more.
Izombie airs every tuesday 9/8c p.m. on CW!

Feminism: the new path of Disney's movie. (#cinderella)

When I was a kid I've never been a loving princess type of girl I was obsessed with 'Peter Pan', 'The Lion King' and 'Aladdin' (and I still am) but when the first trailer of Cinderella came out I've followed in love with Lily James right away and of course there is Robb Stark in it, ehm.. I mean Richard Madden. I had to see it!

"have courage and be kind"

What I loved most is the fact that this wasn't the classic disney movie: the princess has a tough life and she's dreaming about the prince charming, waiting for him and suddenly he appears. NO WAY! Cinderella is a feminist. She fights for her rights and she is not spending the day waiting for her prince comes to save her. She has her life (a tough one, of course) and she's indipendent. She is a role model for all the girls: even when her life is really hard and she's lost everything she has she never stops fighting. Cinderella teach us to don't let anybody (especially your stepmother and stepsisters) bring you down and in order to achieving something in life you have to fight for yourself.

This is actually a revolution in the disney world and I hope they will keep going on this path. And after the success of Frozen, I'm surely they are.

(#the100) Maybe there are no good guys

I couldn't start the blog without a post on (my new favourite show ever) season finale of 'the 100'. If you didn't watch already this season (S2) please stop reading this, you can't spoil the finale to yourself you have to live it! I wasn't totally coinvince by this season until now. At first I've found it a little slow down than the first one, but everything makes sense now.

This season finale just kills you inside from the first second until the last one. If you're a human being like me you can't not be an emotional wreck after watching the episode: Fox died (I really like her, I wanted to know more about her background story), than they started to torture Raven (like if she hasn't gone through enough, come on!), and then Clarke and Octavia found the others (happy thoughts) but after a few seconds Clarke had to killed Cage's father (heartbreaking) and then Abby and Marcus even tried to make a deal with them 'we can donate!' (yeah, why not? we can live in peace and we both can survive, but of course it'd be pretty much boring to watch) and all the radiations on level 5 and Maya died (I've totally predicted that btw, not in this way, but yes!) and Clarke forced to go away from the campus. (seriously Jason, you made her kill Finn, was that not enough?) and what about the Cage's death - I was feeling a little inhuman for that, but Gosh if he did deserve it! (Go Lincoln, GO!)

I love this episode in particular because you can see that 'there are no good guys' in here. Everybody has been fighting for the surviving of their own people and you can see that when Clarke and Bellamy HAD to push down the lever. That was one of the painful scene I've ever seen. This was a human episode, it was entirely on being human, surviving, feelings, hard choice: all the things that charaterize the show. That's what the show is about.

I can't wait to watch the next season, there are at least two storylines that they already mentioned: Clarke on her own and Jaha and his new friend the hologram. Then there will be the campus storyline and I'm sure we didn't see the grounders for the last time. Can we be already next fall, please?

May we meet again.
